New Dental Patient Information Hartwell
Making Each of Your Appointments Enjoyable & Stress-Free

Our goal is to help you look forward to your next dental visit instead, which is why our friendly team is always happy to help you should any road bumps or barriers to care arise. Below, we’ve provided some helpful information on what you can expect from your first appointment with us, as well as dental insurance information. If you have questions, please give our team a call for assistance!
Your First Visit

We want to be sure your teeth and gums are healthy, and prevention is very important in achieving this goal. When you visit our office for the first time, we’ll take the necessary X-rays, do a tooth-by-tooth inspection, assess your gums for any signs of disease, screen for oral cancer, and examine your bite. You’ll also receive a thorough professional cleaning from one of our skilled hygienists. If we spot any signs of trouble, we’ll discuss it with you. If you have any questions or concerns, be sure to mention them to a member of the team. We’ll be sure you leave our office feeling confident and informed.
Patient Forms

As a courtesy and convenience, we’ve provided our new patient forms online. Feel free to print them off at home, fill them out when you have time, and then drop them off with our front desk when you check in. If you prefer to fill out your paperwork in the office, be sure to arrive about 15 minutes early.
Insurance & Payment Options

Lake Hartwell Dentistry accepts most insurance plans, and our front desk is happy to help you understand your benefits and file paperwork on your behalf. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover) as forms of payment.
Financing Available

Our office is partnered with CareCredit and iCreditWorks to provide patient financing. You can apply online or ask us about our financing options at your next visit. Once approved, you will be able to split the cost of your treatment into smaller monthly payments.
Additionally, our practice offers an in-house financing option for orthodontics. If you or your child are in need of orthodontic treatment, make sure to talk with us about our payment plan.
