Dr. Lee has served the Hartwell community for over 30 years. He feels honored to have gotten to know and help so many families. Nothing makes him happier than watching a patient become healthier and more confident thanks to the care he and our team provide. Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
When Dr. Lee was just six years old, his dad told him that if he had a chance to choose his career again, he would become a dentist. He then gave Dr. Lee about seven reasons why! They sounded good to him, and after spending decades in the profession, he’s glad to say that his dad was right.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Lee earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina. After graduating, he completed a General Practice Residency in Brooklyn, New York, where he furthered his education in all aspects of dentistry. Dr. Lee works diligently to remain current in his field, completing advanced training through prestigious institutions such as Spear Education, the Dawson Academy, and the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. To date, he has taken courses focused on cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, root canals, dentures, oral surgery, and laser dentistry. He also maintains memberships in both the American Dental Association and the Georgia Dental Association.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Lee and his wife (a computer software instructor) are the proud parents of four children and enthusiastic grandparents of two granddaughters (with one more on the way!). When he isn’t spending quality time with family, he likes to stay active by hiking, playing pickleball and tennis, practicing photography, and volunteering for mission trips.
