Kids Dental Checkups & Cleanings

Every six months, your child should see us for a routine checkup and cleaning, just like yourself! These regular appointments will allow our dentists to spot any early signs of dental concerns, like cavities, and develop a plan to take care of them before they can lead to other problems. Your child will also receive a thorough dental cleaning from one of our skilled hygienists to prevent the formation of decay or gum disease down the road.

Dental Sealants

Dental sealants are clear, protective coatings that are brushed over the biting surface of molars and hardened to keep bacteria and food debris from accumulating in their fissures. This is one of the top causes of cavities, so dental sealants are a great way to keep decay from occurring and help your child make morning and nightly brushing more effective.

Lip & Tongue Tie Treatment

Has your child experienced food aversion, or are they finding it difficult to sound out certain words or speak? These can be signs of a lip or tongue tie. This issue is marked by a child having a frenum, which is the strip of tissue that connects your lips to your gums and your tongue to the floor of your mouth, that’s too thick or too long. Our team can treat this issue using our Solea soft tissue laser, helping improve their oral mobility.

Pulp Treatment

When a sudden and persistent toothache is impacting your child’s ability to focus at school, we can offer them timely relief that preserves their natural tooth. During pulp treatment, our team will remove the infected portion of their dental pulp that’s causing them pain and protect their tooth with a dental crown. This will help their tooth stay in their mouth until it’s ready to fall out naturally, preventing orthodontic issues from developing as a result of premature tooth loss.
