Heather
Front Office

Heather is the first friendly face that you see at Lake Hartwell Dentistry, and her favorite part of her career is getting to catch up and talk to her patients. She attended Anderson University and has two bachelor’s degrees in business management and marketing. Heather grew up in Hartwell and is married with two wonderful daughters. Whenever she isn’t at the office, she enjoys playing outdoors with her girls, snow skiing, reading, and spending time with family. A fun fact about Heather is that she’s been a patient at Lake Hartwell Dentistry since she was a kid!

Alisa
Dental Hygienist

Alisa has been a valued member of our Lake Hartwell Dentistry team for over 20 years now. She loves educating and helping her patients so they can maintain healthy and beautiful smiles. She’s a graduate of Athens Technical College and is a registered dental hygienist as well as a myofunctional therapist! From Hartwell, Alisa has been married to her high school sweetheart for over 20 years and has three beautiful children. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and baking.

Beth
Dental Hygienist

With over 40 years of experience in the dental field, Beth brings an immense amount of knowledge to her patients. She loves working in the community that she lives in and meeting new people that live here! A graduate of Clayton Junior College, Beth has worked in specialist and general dental practices, and she continues to grow her knowledge and skills through continuing education each year. Whenever she isn’t at the office, you can find her spending time with her husband of over 40 years, their children, and their five grandchildren. She loves spending time on the lake with family and friends, traveling, cooking, and entertaining.

Chase
Dental Hygienist

Over her 15+-year career, Chase has always enjoyed getting to know her patients and helping them in any way she can. She graduated from Athens Technical College in 2010 with her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene and has been working in private practice ever since. Her and her husband have been together for over 15 years and have three wonderful children. When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her family, studying the Bible, baking, reading, and exploring new places.

Kim
Dental Hygienist

Kim has been an important member of our Lake Hartwell Dentistry team for over 25 years now. Her favorite part of her career is building friendships and caring for her patients. She always says that she really does have the best patients! Kim graduated from Medical College of Georgia and has her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene degree. Originally from Elberton, Kim lives in the area with her husband and their two children. In her free time, you can find her playing pickleball and cheering on the Georgia Bulldogs!

Mary Kate
Dental Hygienist

Mary Kate has been a valued member of our Lake Hartwell Dentistry team for over eight years now, and she loves helping her patients maintain lifelong oral health and confident smiles. She also enjoys building lasting relationships while providing gentle and thorough care. Mary Kate earned her degree in dental hygiene from Athens Technical College and is a licensed dental hygienist who worked as a dental assistant before. She stays up-to-date by taking continuing education every year and is incredibly passionate about helping her patients feel comfortable. Mary Kate’s family consists of her husband and their two sweet kids. She enjoys spending time with her family and getting outdoors whenever she isn’t in the office.

Meagan
Dental Hygienist

Meagan has been a member of the Lake Hartwell Dentistry team for over 15 years. To this day, her favorite thing about her job is getting to meet different people each day and learning their stories. She also enjoys educating her patients about their oral health! She earned her associate degree in dental hygiene from Athens Technical College. Meagan is engaged to be married and has a twin sister that she loves spending time with. In her free time, you can find her running, working out, going on vacation with family and friends, and going to Georgia football games. A fun fact about Meagan is that she has a fraternal twin sister, and their birthdays are on two different days in two different months!

Candice
Dental Assistant

Candice has over seven years of experience in the dental field. She loves building relationships with her patients and knowing she helps make their visit easier and less stressful. Candice attended Athens Technical College and has worked in orthodontic and general dental practices assisting in a wide range of procedures. She enjoys helping her patients feel comfortable and confident while supporting the team at Lake Hartwell Dentistry. Candice’s husband and their daughter keep her life full of fun and laughter. Whenever she isn’t at the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and cheering on her daughter at soccer, gymnastics, and basketball. An interesting fact about Candice is that she’s been serving in the National Guard since 2007 and is still proudly serving today.

Emily
Orthodontic Assistant & Dental Assistant

Emily brings over two decades of experience in the dental field to our practice. She loves making her patients feel comfortable and feeling that they truly care about them. She attended North Gaston College and has countless years of hands-on experience. Originally from Gastonia, North Carolina, Emily has been married for over 40 years and has two amazing children and four precious grandchildren. Her favorite time is whenever she’s with her family. She also loves to cook and bake. An interesting fact about Emily is that she lived in Germany for four years.

Melissa
Dental Assistant

Melissa has been in the dental field for over 35 years and enjoys being able to help her patients feel good about their smiles. She attended Tri-County Technical College, where she earned her dental assisting certification. Each year, she completes continuing education to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in her field.

Melissa is happily married with one son and a wonderful daughter-in-law and granddaughter. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and making memories with her granddaughter. She also loves cheering on Georgia college football and hanging out with her friends. She does wedding planning and coordinating whenever she isn’t working as a dental assistant!

Priscilla
Dental Assistant

Priscilla enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and confident in the dental chair. She truly enjoys easing her patients’ dental anxiety and showing people that dentistry doesn’t have to be scary with the right team!

From Bowman, Georgia, Priscilla enjoys spending time with her husband, their four children, and their three dogs who keep their home full of energy. Whenever she isn’t at work, she enjoys riding side-by-sides, spending time with her family, and going to the beach to soak up the sun. A fun fact about Priscilla is that both her and her husband had children named Kyler before they met!

Tawana
Dental Assistant

Tawana has been working in the dental field for over 30 years and is a wonderful addition to our Lake Hartwell Dentistry team. She loves working for a family-oriented, Christian-based private practice. She is trained in all of the expanded duties of dental assisting and has taken extensive continuing education over the years, including at the renowned Spear Institute and Las Vegas Institute. She also has received certificates in Advanced Orthodontics, Advanced TMD and Neuromuscular Treatment, and Sleep Apnea.

Tawana is married and has two children and five wonderful grandchildren. She enjoys spending time traveling and spoiling her grandchildren!
